Global Direct – User Guide
Before Leaving HK
1. Customer will be assigned a single Global Direct number after successful registration
(e.g. 3XX-XXXX)
2. Call 2112-0852 (Press 2) and set up an overseas mobile or fixed-line telephone number
(Your default Starter PIN is the first 6 digits of your ID card/Passport No.)
Make calls from overseas to HK / destinations around the world
1. Using any local fixed-line or mobile phone
2. Dial: International Access Code + 852 + Global Direct number
3. Hang up after connecting the call
4. Call will be made from the Global Direct system to your Preset Overseas Number
5. Pick up the phone and make international call to any destinations around the world
(For calls made to HK, please enter: 007 + 852 + HK Telephone Number)
(For calls made to destinations excluding HK,
please enter: 007 + Country Code + Area Code + Local Telephone Number)
Change Settings
Customer may change the Preset Overseas Number, PIN or Selected Language through the following channels:
1. Interactive Voice Response System (Tel: 2112-0852 / Press 2)
2. Global Direct – Online Service Centre (Website:
https://globaldirect.hkbnes.net)
3. Customer Service Hotline (Tel: 121-129)
4. Global Direct Interactive Voice Response System (Only applicable to customers who want to change the Preset Overseas Number while aboard)
Online Arrangement in Advance
Customer may preset the usage commands of Global Direct service through the Global Direct – Online Service Centre:
1. Log on Global Direct – Online Service Centre (Website:
https://globaldirect.hkbnes.net)
2. Enter the call time and the destination number
3. Global Direct system will follow your instructions and connect your call to the destination number
